That's cool.

The issue with Lebron/Lemon is not the opinions they expressed but the timing of them. I think it is fine for athletes, or anyone for that matter, to express their opinions on public figures if it is done with some decorum. Lebron/Lemon decided that at the unveiling of a new school for which Lebron contributed like 2 million towards, they decide that is the right time to insult the POTUS. Let's also remember that the POTUS's comments were made in retaliation to those comments whereas Lebron/Lemon made them for no related reason in an interview about the school. Personally, I like that this POTUS does not sit back and allow himself to be picked apart without a fight. I mean, how could he not right, it is constant.

In many ways I agree with what Mitchell is saying here and he managed to do it without calling the POTUS names as Lemon and Lebron did.

I don’t understand. Is the problem you have with LeBron and Lemon the fact Trump was criticized during the interview? If so, then you’ve a problem with unprovoked attacks or unprovoked attacks on the POTUS? Is that it?

I’m not sure how much money LeBron donated to the school, but if $2 million, are you saying that isn’t enough?

Lastly, since Mitchell showed decorum, are you saying that others without decorum are the problem?

I hadn’t watched any Trump news since his election, but I do recall his comments on people during his campaign and I hardly remember him showing decorum.

Hmm.

LeBron’s foundation to spend $41M to send kids to college https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.foxspo ... 3famp=true

Meanwhile, Trump settled a fraud case for $25 million regarding his fraudulent university https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.busine ... ity-2018-4

Hmm.

Melanie Trump defended LeBron, it caught me by surprise that Trump’s wife defended the man Trump criticized https://www.google.com/amp/s/abc7.com/a ... t/3884899/

Hmm.

The worst part about Trump is that hes invaded my sports talk radio. The guy just has to have his hand in controversy in every possible thing imaginable. Next thing you know hes gonna be talking trash about my local chinese food spot. :drunk:

Yea, right :) So, basically you have been living under a rock for the past couple of years right?!? Still think POTUS OBama was treated worse than any other POTUS ?!? I kept telling you that POTUS was handled with kid gloves by the press because they are his liberal arm. Point proven.

What I actually said was:

Here:

From a basically liberal source no less. Point proven.
he Akron school district expects to spend a total of $8.1 million over the next five years for the I Promise school, according to a report in Akron’s Beacon Journal. James’ family foundation will cover the costs of other extra school features, and with its partners has already contributed $2 million for building upgrades, extra staffing and other needs, the paper notes.
The stuff about Trump University has nothing to do with anything so I am not even going there. You take a simple post, turn it in the direction you please and misrepresent the point being made. Since you have not been watching Trump coverage since the election (yes, he is our POTUS and should not simply, per YOUR standards, be called Trump, you want me to go back and copy that from your old post too?!?) that is called "fake news" at its finest.

She defended his actions in helping people, which deserves defense which i believe I did also (hmm), which fits in with her per
persona. You know Melania, the person you are speaking highly of here yet gets depicted as a babbling fool by the press. Speaks countless languages and is doing more for education in this country (quietly, seeking no fame or credit) than any first lady before her that I am familiar with.

No, it’s the honest to God truth. I hadn’t watched any Trump coverage since his election. It’s not impossible nor is it important to me, to be perfectly honest.

I’ve no problem with LeBron James nor President Barack Obama nor First Lady Michelle Obama, none at all.

And, as far as I’m concerned, this is the point where you lost all credibility.

Also, Melania is the hawtest First Lady of all time (Dolly Madison gets honorable mention).

Her main residence is in New York, just like Kevin Knox, who will win ROY. Keep the posts on topic, gentlemen.

Well, this is the point at which I wonder why you commented on the post in the first place. Like many, you choose to comment upon something for which you admittedly have no knowledge :)

Wow, just wow.

To my other point which you conveniently did not address, he is POTUS Trump, President Trump, or something of the like for which shows the respect for the office he holds. These are from YOUR words....or do you forget those also or better yet, do they only pertain to POTUS that you "prefer".

Wow shakes, just wow. I am a big boy and can (and actually like if it helps me understand better) counter thoughts to my own but your comments are now losing all credibility and basically becoming irrelevant.

Oh, I’ve no problem with being irrelevant.

I’m different, I suppose.
