Which East Team Matches Up Best With the Warriors’ Infinity Gauntlet Lineup?

https://www.si.com/nba/2019/02/08/easte ... ors-lineup

Good read, so I shared with the forum.
The writer seems to believe Raptors match up best, but I don’t know. I can’t see anyone matching up with Durant, Curry and Klay once the 3’s come raining down. Lowry and Danny Green are no match for Golden State’s backcourt.

Then there’s Draymond and Boogie—two of the best passing bigs in the game.

Sixers, or the bucks, the Celtics are finished. The Gordon hawood contact killed them

I can see the 6ers winning a game. I can also see why they acquired Tobias Harris. I just don’t believe Simmons is experienced enough to overcome Curry’s dynamics.

Butler vs Klay Thompson would be a good matchup on both ends of the court.

I didn’t think much of Phillys chances until they got Harris. They have time to gel and thus far, It looks solid.

If all remains the same, aka no injuries I don’t see anyone giving GSW many worries but if anyone has the potential, I would give it to Philly.

Embiid/Cousins could be fun.

I agree with the article. The Raptors would give the best fight against the Warriors (and by that I mean win 1-2 games). Their lineup of Lowry-Green-Kawhi-Siakam-Ibaka is very versatile on defense and Kawhi has shown he can handle Durant AND produce on offense at the same time. Can't see anyone else do so in the east.

Of course, they need start-of-the-season Lowry, top-of-his-game Green, and healthy-not-resting Kawhi

Malcolm Brogdon out 6-8 weeks for Bucks:

Devastating news for Bucks. Percentage-wise, Brogdon enjoying historic season.

Agreed, Embiid and Sixers definitely making a statement to the top teams in the Eastern Conference. There are a few playoffs matchups I’d love to see involving 6ers and Bucks.

Sixers vs Bucks, of course.
Sixers vs Celtics.
Bucks vs Celtics.
Both teams versus Raptors.

Lopez really got exposed as a liability vs the Sixers. Embiid really is a match up nightmare. Lopez tall and slow so Embiid can take him off the dribble or just pull up from three. Put a smaller, more athletic guy on him and he gets toasted in the paint.

Good thing the Knicks got Mitch Rob to defend him in the future.

Russel is definitely a pick and roll maestro. He knows how to use his body to create space or get the defender on his back. Often times hes not really doing anything too fancy either.
