That's what I'm scared could happen in New York. Getting another superstar (or 2) next to KP in a trade, and then having not enough quality on the bench, and losing the chemistry we have. I like how deep our team is right now.

It's gonna be hard to defeat Golden State in a 7 game series.

Still.

DAngelo Russel> lonzo Ball ...that would make me happy for some reason.

That game was awful. You could go to any court with a pickup game and see guys who have never met before play off each other better than OKC did down the stretch of that game. I can't get my head around it.

Nothing to worry about at KP's age.

Mudiay showing signs.

I wish New York would trade for him.

How do the Celtics beat the Raptors with Heywood and Irving out?!? Detroit and Orlando leading their divisions?!?

The Eastern Conference has hit parity and it is just waiting for one of these younger teams to start to make a move and distinguish themselves. The Bucks?!? The Sixers?!?

Why not the Knicks :)

Agreed with the first, "why" to the second line. Building up two young point guards at the same time seems nearly impossible. That being said, I'm happy for him, that he is hitting his shots with more accuracy this season. His assist-to-turnover still needs some upgrading, but his solid first 13 games are a good reminder, that you have to be patient with your young guys.

76ers giving Covington a 4 year/62 mill extension and bump his salary this year up by 15 mill. So he is now just under 80 mill for five years. Very high for a late bloomer IMO even though he has had a fantastic start to this season. Once again a sign where starter money is at right now. But maybe I slept on him, because of how awful the Sixers were the last years and his under 40% FG% in his last three years.

Traditionally, I'd agree. But I don't really know cause Lakers and 6ers appear to be going that route with Ball/Clarkson or even Russell/Clarkson. 6ers seem to be Simmons team, from a playmaking standpoint, even if Fultz becomes who I think he'll become.

I don't know, I say, cause Ntili and Hardaway and Mudiay in the Knicks backcourt sounds better than Ntili and Hardaway and whatever couple of over the hill point guards New York signs at the time.

But I see what you're saying, though.

Embiid and Simmons look really good for the Sixers last night, but it was against the Lakers so take it for what it's worth.

We'd be a lousy shooting team. Frank scared to shoot, Mudaiy can't shoot and Tim will shoot as much as possible.

How come Mudiay can't shoot but Ntili can? Is it because he's a Knick and receives the benefit of the doubt?

Frank's all-around shooting statistics are horrid.

Dear Basketball Gods,

Please allow Phoenix to receive the top overall pick in the '18 NBA Draft.

No professional basketball team should allow 90 first half points in a game.

Signed,
Concerned NBA fan.

A scary thought: What if OKC doesn't reach the playoffs this season?
