Kyrie and Kawhi have some commonalities:
They both are champs and both reportedly wanted to take the Ny challenge.

With Kp the workhorse they can pair with a young defensive sharpshooter who is a match-up nightmare, on a relatively cheap contract. The opportunity is there. They should take advantage while its available.

Knox and Nitti would then become expendable but are also valuable assets for an all around team. I don't see a combo in the east better than Kyrie Kawhi Knox & KP.

This is actually a better trade and one I would go with.

It seems the Lakers are waiting until next season to sign Kawhi with all these one year deals.

Boston has a better package with Gordon Hayward and a future 1st, but Kawhi might not resign.

New York can offer the above package, and insists b/c you have until the trade deadline Spurs fans to make a move. But this only works if Kawhi states he will only resign with the Knicks.

Gotta wait and see where Kawhi's head at

We should be patient and confident that Nitty, Knox, and KP are the next Kyrie, Kawhi, and Durant.

That's right you heard it here first, we already have a big 3 in the making which will become a big 4 after next years draft. No need to get current all NBA talent.

the state of the East tells me that if we just simply defend and play as a team...we can make a big jump in 2 years.

keep it simple...Trade Lee for a young athletic 4 man. Call it a day.

the next step is letting Training Camp/Preseason and some of the year to evaluate and releasing some of the dead weight to focus on the young guys that are getting it.

-The Warriors won a championship before they signed any of those players and Curry was thier highest pick at pick 7.
-Kuwai was picked something like 13th and prior to that night nobody even knew who he was.
-Kyrie Irving will either sign as a FA or he won't

-Cam Reddish and RJ Barrett are awesome players.
