Perhaps Don Nelson had him right all along - he really is delusional and thinks he is better than he is. You kind of sympathize with the guy because he is really kind of lost as a "tweener" who is too good to be "just a role player" and too much of a scrub to be a star on your team. In my opinion, 20 minutes off the bench leading the offense with mainly defensive players/unselfish players surrounding him is the only value he has left. Mostly the anger I have toward him is not so much his game (he actually has a decent game) but his decision-making. He is the epitome of "FAIL!!!" in the fourth quarter. Can you think of a "spotless" clutch performance from him? He carries us for most of the quarter and then makes some crackpot move in the final 4 minutes. Tonight, he took a 3 trying to be the hero after a missed shot, and then we ended up going down by 5 and deflating our hopes of catching up to tie it. He has done that countless times.
SOLUTION:
GIVE BILL WALKER ALL OF HIS MINUTES NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
