The season is back very early this year
My biggest hope for this season are that the warriors don't win the title
I think Kawai wins his 1st MVP this year
Won't lie I'm interested in the 76ers this year if embiid can stay on the court special talent
Twolves with butler towns Wiggins should finally be good again
Also think D Rose could have big year playing with lebron
And in crazy news : Story on altercation between Bulls' Bobby Portis and Nikola Mirotic, leaving Mirotic out for foreseeable future: https://sports.yahoo.com/sources-bulls- ... 15980.html …

This is horrible. But I have to believe part of it is this news trend of everyone wearing basketball shoes that look like running shoes. I mean look at them. No amore support. A lot of these new age basketball sneakers look like sexy casual wear rather than true shorts technology. What do they think is gonna happen. If I were his shoes sponsor I'd be in crisis mode right now.

It looked horrible, but career ending is a stretch for a broken ankle. Let's wait on more information. Recovery time could be anything between 3 months and a year I guess.thewatcher wrote:Possibly career ending. His foot was completely hanging backwards.

Really looking forward to seeing if Minnesota becomes one of the the top defensive teams in the league via Butler, Wiggins and Towns and of course Thibs coaching.ISIAH_THOMAS wrote:

At the end of the day, it'll be Cavs vs Warriors III, we all know.
But up and coming teams ala Timberwolves, Bucks, 6ers, Mavericks, Nuggets, Blazers and Pelicans should make for an entertaining season.
On top of that, New York adds another high lottery pick to the roster.

Giannis 37 and 13 vs the Celtics... Good thing Boston traded away all their defense right???
Embiid is unusual. He has 3 point range but hes so huge....seems like he would be more dominant in the low post but prefers to hang around outside. Fine for pick and rolls I guess.
And the Dennis Smith JR 'Why didnt we draft this guy tour' begins. Hes got 14 and 5 in the middle of third quarter

Dirk on Dennis Smith Jr.: "He's definitely a special athlete. We're gonna have a lot of fun watching him hopefully for a long, long time."
16 points, 10 assists, 3 boards, 3 turnovers, 2 fouls.
Frank...you're up

Jeremy Lin went down with an ugly knee injury in the fourth quarter of tonight’s game against the Indiana Pacers after going up for a contested layup.
The replay’s somewhat hard to watch, with Lin seemingly in shock for a few seconds after crumpling to the ground before repeating, “I’m done. I’m done”:
