People are already throwing red flags on MPJ
I'm intrigued by Doncic primarily since everyone has hyped him up as the best international wing prospect........EVERH20Knick wrote:Let's just go ahead and start this now
MPJ, Doncic, or Ayton?

Doncic
Ive only learned about Doncic late last year and watched a ton of highlights and was completely impressed.cragganmor wrote:Doncic
Afterwards I started watching full games of his and here are some of my concerns with him.
His temper right now is pretty bad. Ive seen him lose his cool multiple times, shouting and stuff. He even yelled at Gustavo Ayon( a vet who played in nba) on the court for a bad pass. I dont know if you guys see that as good or bad, but what I do know is that some players would want to play with that kind of player and some wouldnt. But still he has ton of time to improve on that being only 18.
It seems likely that we would get a top 2 pick next year. I want to see more of Porter and bamba( whos like rudy gobert with a jumper)

Let's just draft Zion Williamson right out of High School instead. That kid is something special. Lebron 2.0
Damn it feels good to be a tankster.
So... everyone on the Ayton/Bamba train... what do we do with KP? Am I the only one who doesn't think two 7 footers works in this era of basketball?
In Thibs we trust.

Yep. Fads change sand these guys are young enough to outlast the current one. However even if it never does it really isnt about hieght but rather skillset. I was about to draft a 6'11 SF if I had the chance. So long as they are mobile, and have skills that players shorter than them have I think there's nothing wrong with being tall. But there are also ways to mitigate your concerns. You could play 2 7fters and start 3 guards. Balance achieved.H20Knick wrote:So... everyone on the Ayton/Bamba train... what do we do with KP? I think its less concerning to see 2 C sized players than what we're used to, which is 2 Cs essential........ and then a SF who plays in every way like a stretch 4. To me THATS our real choke point. Its that slow power wing thats got you feeling like we're outdated.
I don't know much about the next waive of big men just yet. Ill get there but if they are mobile Im down.

I'll do my best to remain open minded until I get a good luck at the ncaa prospects incoming but Doncic has to be a heavy favorite at this point. He's been looking really good in the second best league in the world since he was 17. Plus I think he compliments Frank really well. That's a big but pretty skilled back court.

Also intrigued by Michael Porter; great tools, feel for the game, bb iq, can play both forward spots.
Looks like Marvin Bagley might reclassify then possibly join the 2018 draft.
Haven't watched that much of Bagley but he is ranked ahead of the beast Zion Williamson which is a big deal. He's compared to KG and looks to be fundamentally sound for his age.
Next years draft just got a whole lot better for us. It will be much easier to secure either Porter or the Don now. I think Bamba, Ayton, Bagley could be great but either Porter or Doncic fits the roster better.
Porter looks like Paul George with lesser defense.
Doncic is like Rubio but with far superior shooting but also less defense.
