Sean Marks has done an excellent job rebuilding this team.
I have no love for Lin but he's still a starting caliber PG in this league.
Sean Kilpatrick was an under the radar pick up.
So was Hamilton. Reminds me of Troy Murphy.
I don't think they will make the playoffs but they won't be giving Boston a top 3 pick again unless the balls bounce favorably for them.
This is my confession: I like the Brooklyn Nets

The Nets are showcasing Lin to everybody who are in dire need of pg upgrade to be traded for a 2017 1st rounder and another future pick/assets. That's what I would do since the Celts own rights to swap with their 2017 1st rounder. Also trade Brook for more picks. Reacquire picks to rebuild via draft.

I sort of agree but they had nothing to gain from losing these past years and he was the only thing that made them profitable. You could look at it as sort of a business decision that didn't have a huge impact on future prospects.
I'd be curious about what offers LAC/Dallas would make for Brook. Seems likely he'll get moved at the deadline or over the summer depending on how things go.

Lopez just dumped 34 pts (4 3ptrs made) and 11 rebs on the Pistons. If he stays healthy, someone might bite. Nets FO making those two look good.Muzhik1 wrote:Nets should have traded Brook few seasons ago when he had more value.

I can't help but liking the Bulls, now that he's no longer with the heat I like Wade, and I like crazy Rondo, also like Lopez, hate the heat even more, don't like Whiteside.

The Nets are the only NY basketball team I can root for to win this season.
Caris Levert has had a great rookie season. the guy can hoop.
Dinwiddie was a nice pickup to fill the void left by Jeremy Linjured. If Lin comes back sooner than later this team can bump down the Boston pick a few spots.

Might be a good idea, if we want our Knicks to get that #1 pick in the draftrebound wrote:The Nets are the only NY basketball team I can root for to win this season.

So Lin came back way too late, but the Nets look pretty good this month.
Like their core of Lin,Levert,RHJ,Lopez
Their summer should be interesting with all that cap space.
Since they like to play RHJ at the PF, I think they will go hard after KCP from Detroit maybe even Tiny Timmy
