"He's a really great kid." "He's an extremely hard worker." "He's a pleasure to be around..."
Stuff like this seems to be the narrative whenever our young phenom gets mentioned but is it all too good to be true? Is there too much love given to Porzingis? Personally, I see him as cut from the same kinda cloth as guys like Starbury, Curry and Earl Jr. The only difference is Porzingis knows how to hide his flaws. I mean, what do any of us really know about him? I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time before we're all introduced to the real Kristaps.
Wassup wit' his goofy-ass hairstyle? (pause)

Not goofy if you're ruler of North Korea. Not goofy if you're trying to get that free Golden Corral Veteran's Day meal tomorrow. Not goofy if he's covering a Gorbachev-like birthmark up there.KnicksFanInSouthFL wrote:Wassup wit' his goofy-ass hairstyle? (pause)
Nah, it's goofy.

He eats babies and takes all of the candy when people leave a bucket out on their stoop for Halloween, even when there's a sign that says "take one".

Per 36 his stats are almost identical to Towns. And Towns doesn't even have to share the ball with a Melo-type player on his team...washingtonparkjones wrote:He's not KAT.
Why am I defending this douche?

sheesh - not KAT was about all I could come up with - of course its thin. We're manufacturing reasons.
If y'all want to say he is or is going to be better, I'm down.
.....and no one got the reference in my second post? disappointed

I would assume everyone got it, I just didn't have a particularly good response so I let it be.washingtonparkjones wrote:sheesh - not KAT was about all I could come up with - of course its thin. We're manufacturing reasons.

He's shorter and skinnier than Groot.
“I’m still chasing a championship, I’m just chasing it here in New York,’’ Anthony said. “I’ve come to peace with that. I’m doing it in my own way on my own time.”

His fingers are too long, making him 0.1 seconds too late from hitting the game winner
