I know what you're thinking...
There's no way the Cubs are beating the Dodgers.

After watching that 5th inning, I am not sure if the Nats are just that jinxed or the Cubs that blessed now that the curse has been brokenshakespeare wrote:I know what you're thinking...

Never count the Champs out until they are out!
I like the Cubs in this series. They win in a lot of different ways and LA has a bit of a bad run to try and overcome themselves now.

AGREED, and if it wasn't Chicago that defeated Washington, I'd really feel bad for the Nationals. I mean: How can you not feel bad for the Nationals?
Meanwhile, the Cubs are the exact opposite, heading into the NLCS where the Dodgers have homefield advantage. I will say this, though: If the Cubs win Game 1 against Kershaw, then maybe the mounting pressure will get the best of LA.
I'd love to see the Cubs return to the World Series after breaking the curse and winning it all last season. But the Dodgers are a strong team, I admit. They have everything, pitching, hitting and most importantly, a well-rested roster after defeating the Diamondbacks in only 3 games.dcapodic wrote:

Almora, with a 2-run homer in the 4th inning, has drawn blood from Kershaw in Game 1.shakespeare wrote:Fowler is solid, but can be replaced via Almora.

Yesterday, I asked a few co-workers if they believed Cubs could win these next 3 games at Wrigley...
Every last one of them said Cubs won't win a single game against LA.
