 - well done!

the clues in my guessing game were:
- pick n roll
- 2 times to the nba final
- third option after malone & stockton
- high % 3 point and FT shooting
- hair cut
- wiping his face at the FT line.

and after that I thought maybe there is another one on another team who might fit these hints, so I added the 'sending out a curse' phrase. It's probably a german/english translation thing that I mixed up, but the Jazz cursed us with layden and his actions as a GM.

Here's one:

The experts questioned my age and experience when I was drafted by Portland in one of the most heralded drafts in quite awhile. People questioned my knees from the moment I entered the league and I don't blame them. I didn't get a chance to show my skills my first few years in the league and those same experts said I might need a change of scenery. I still hope slide into the finals someday but I've been an all star and have been traded for all stars. Who am I?

Jermaine O'Neal. Out of high school, traded to Indiana, currently sucking it up with the team in green.

Naan got it.

Here's another one.

I am one of the most well traveled NBA players of all time. I've been with the Heat, Warriors, Nets, and Mavericks where I made the All Star team. I've caught passes from JKidd but despite what you might have heard I never had a thing for Toni. I was born in the 70s and was a two time conference player of the year back in college. Funny thing, I was traded for the player you probably think this is about. Who am I?

Just in case you are still interested in an answer: it is Chris Gatling. Jim Jackson never made the All-Star team.

Wait a second. Maybe I was overconfident, because I just looked up Gatling's birthday and he was born in the 60s. OK, now we have to look it up. Gatling was out of my memory because he played for those teams and was an All-Star for Dallas...

Edit: After looking at the list of Mavericks' All-Stars I still think I'm right with Gatling though the question would be wrong formulated then because of "born in the 70s". :?

Maybe this is why the trivia section died? A question that has no answer.

All I know is that when I checked every angle of that question I was pretty damn sure it was Jim Jackson.
