I for one would like to figure out why RJ can play really well alongside Shai in FIBA, but not next to Jalen against, say, the Utah Jazz.
the most peculiar thing overall is, a lot of the potential trade targets for RJ include us taking on other teams’ question marks

Right now you keep Randle, Brunson and Quickley (and that's pretty clear for quite some time BTW) and everyone else is on the table for a 2-for-1-plus trade to improve immediately and for the future.
We have enough assets to have a) a well balanced roster after such a trade and b) stay well positioned to make another trade after that and c) be able to add talent via the draft if b) doesn't materialize or isn't needed.
Putting a second rotation player and a pick or two in a trade for one star (caliber) player should make a big difference in the quality at the top of our roster, because of the drop off after our top three guys. In such a trade scenario improving is basically a given.
Key sentence right there.ISIAH_THOMAS wrote: ↑December 30th, 2023, 11:28 am A lot of this team iso centric offense is due to the coach and his scheme
Knicks one again in bottom in terms of assist per game..3rd worst right now
If you swapped thibs out for Steve Kerr I think there would be more movement on offense
The spurs and wizards who are not good teams are top 8 in assist
