Andre Wiggins tries to post up Klay Thompson.

It didn’t end well for Wiggins.

Suns fire their GM just days before the season starts. https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2018/10/sun ... nough.html

Shams Charania
@ShamsCharania

The Phoenix Suns have fired GM Ryan McDonough.

:hmm: Strange timing. A bit Knicks like. ;)

From the Suns:

“After much thought and a long evaluation of basketball operations, I have decided to relieve Ryan McDonough of his duties as general manager of the Phoenix Suns,” team owner Robert Sarver said today in a press release confirming the move. “Our focus in the short term is to prepare for the upcoming NBA season and to continue pursuing opportunities to strengthen our roster. Over the course of the season, we will explore both internal and external options as we look to restructure our basketball front office leadership.”

They just had the no. 1 pick in the draft and a coaching opening. Let McDonough make both decisions and then fire him... :sadno:

Sounds like an out of touch owner that just showed up to a preseason game and wondered why the team was garbage.

To relieve of duties. Hate that modern soft corpo crap language.

And this one: “Let’s just say [he or she] wasn’t a good fit.”

Two things about Butler’s comment:

1) He’s gonna murder the Timberwolves locker room
or
2) He’s gonna light a fire under Towns and Wiggins

Basketttbaallll is back!!!

Was a really fun game to watch. Happy to see good ball. Boston is a problem!!!!!!!!!!!! Philly looks really strong too, Boston just outclasses them once the second units come in.

Only watched the first half, but Fultz seems to wander around aimlessly, Enbid is a walking TO.
Philly isn't close to Boston. Tatum is the best player on the Celtics

If I see one more article regarding Carmelo complaints about coming off the bench...

On another note, Phoenix was fortunate to draft Devin Booker with the 13th overall pick in the ‘15 draft. If redone, Booker most likely goes 3rd or 4th begins Towns, Porzingis and maybe [before or after] Myles Turner.

AGREED.

Uncle Drew’s injury factor makes Tatum the best player on C’s. BTW, if interested, a good article on Tatum via Deadspin:
