Nice! I was wondering about that crowded Cavs backcourt complicating things and like it, that Wade returns to Miami. Only question: LeBron good with this?

That's really strange. Did Wade and Bron have a fallout?

Wow.

Cavs trading everyone they brought in that doesn't fit in their mind (IT, Wade, Rose, Crowder) and some dead wood (Shumpert, Frye). Very interesting. Can't remember such a complete turnover during the season.

And now they've gotta build some chemistry QUICK with all of these new pieces.

Reportedly LeBron leaving is basically a foregone conclusion because his relationship to Gilbert deteriorated again. Although I would still find it very strange if he leaves them twice. Can't he make up his mind like a usual franchise player? At least at some point? Might all be pure speculation though.

Wow, I agree!

I know Wade has not played great but when push comes to shove in the playoffs you would think Lebron would want/trust Wade.
It is the kinda thing that makes you think there is more to it...personal, whatever.

Wojnarowski reports that the front office offered Wade a chance to return to the franchise where he spent his first 13 seasons and worked out a deal when he accepted.

The Cavaliers’ coaching staff was planning a reduced role for Wade going forward and he had been campaigning for a return to Miami behind the scenes, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN (Twitter link).

This is the craziest thing, ever.

I just read an article that spoke of Dan Gilbert being back at the controls as the worst thing ever. And he proves it.

I’d never believed LeBron would leave Cleveland again. But I don’t see how he can stay after this strange trade.

Rodney Hood is a very underrated player, though.

If healthy.

And that’s the thing.

“Craziest thing, ever” cause they also traded Thomas.

Hill, Clarkson, Hood and Nance might fit in quite well though.

Agreed, in the long run, Cavs improved talent and team morale.

At the same time, 1/2 a season isn’t nearly enough time for this many players to gel.

Not sure LeBron’s headed back to the Finals, this season.

Yeah remember everyone saying George Hill was signed to be a mentor??? Right....so they trade him for two shooting guards? More like Hill is a backup talent and a horrid contract. Good luck with that Bron.

Still not the bad contract you made it out to be though. Easily moved - as predicted - because his third year was not guaranteed. Good fit in Cleveland and they don't have to worry about his price tag with all the money they spend for role players before. Crowder could also be a good fit in Utah though, while Sacto simply does the summer over.

Hill is a major upgrade over Rose and a better fit than Thomas. I think it's a good deal for Cleveland.

Easily traded huh. Its still a horrid contract whichever way you wanna look at it. The absolute choas in Cleveland and their desperation is what made it happen. Nothing easy about that situation. Again, no excuse to give any mediocre player 20 million a year. Dont understand defending that.

LeBron is gone, guaranteed. Hill isnt a good fit for Cleveland unless you want LeBron to be the sole playmaker. Theres a reason why Bron won a chip with Kyrie and he didnt with Eric Snow. More load on LeBron is not good news. Trading Wade for a pick is the nail in the coffin. Basically just says, sorry Bron, you are leaving we need a pick.

Also giving LA their first rounder and Isiah looks like robbery. They might have received nice pieces....but they never gave Isiah a chance and Isiah is and will be the best player out of all these guys.

I also think Cleveland is expecting to get the Utah George Hill and not the Sacramento George Hill. I assume they're betting on him raising his game backup now that he's back on a playoff contender.
