Probably it was Caldwell-Pope and a first-round pick, right? I mean how can you not take a gamble on Okafor otherwise?

That's a nice deal for the Mavs. If they don't make the playoffs this year, they keep their pick and Philly reportedly only gets two second round picks for Noel. Interesting how guys (Okafor and Noel) who people thought were better prospects than KP have lost their value this quickly.

knee problems, doesn't rebound, attitude/entitlement issues (doesn't want to play for philly. is mad they drafted him after they drafted one big and then turned around and drafted simmons), offensive game is stuck in the 90s, etc.

Okafor+Drummond wouldn't work together at all and Drummond is better. a lot better actually

Yeah, but Caldwell-Pope is not a building block for the future either or am I missing something with this roughly .400 shooter? Looked it up: A career 11.7 PER player. But you may be right, maybe SVG just doesn't want Okafor, so he wouldn't even trade his SG.

Toronto made some moves to right their ship.
I wouldn't be surprised if Cavs don't make it to the Finals.

come on rebound, they still have the best 2 players in the conference. JR and Love will be healthy by then. They'll beat the shit out of Toronto like they always do.

Great job Indy.........if you thought George was on the fence of not signing an extension with the Pacers, guess what? HE DEFINITELY WILL NOT CONSIDER SIGNING AN EXTENSION NOW

Is Philly seriously thinking about playing Okafor along side Embid???

Coangelo royally screwed that trade up.

I think Philly attempted to do trade both, but was only successful to get rid of Noel. Okafor was on the table for a trade to Chicago, but ultimately Chicago declined.

I expect Okafor trade rumors to flare back up around the NBA Draft, it isn't over.
