That's a nice deal for the Mavs. If they don't make the playoffs this year, they keep their pick and Philly reportedly only gets two second round picks for Noel. Interesting how guys (Okafor and Noel) who people thought were better prospects than KP have lost their value this quickly.

Okafor+Drummond wouldn't work together at all and Drummond is better. a lot better actually

Yeah, but Caldwell-Pope is not a building block for the future either or am I missing something with this roughly .400 shooter? Looked it up: A career 11.7 PER player. But you may be right, maybe SVG just doesn't want Okafor, so he wouldn't even trade his SG.

I think Philly attempted to do trade both, but was only successful to get rid of Noel. Okafor was on the table for a trade to Chicago, but ultimately Chicago declined.

I expect Okafor trade rumors to flare back up around the NBA Draft, it isn't over.
