There is 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter of the Rockets and Lakers game, and both teams are already at 104 to 108 points respectively.

D'Antoni has brought back "no defense basketball" to the NBA, fellas

I'm still trying to figure out who in the world is Simmons?

He seemingly came out of nowhere against the Warriors.

10 takeaways from NBA season openers: Big men are back

3. Big men are back. Anthony Davis goes for 50 points, 16 rebounds and five assists. Karl-Anthony Towns has 21 points and five assists. Joel Embiid gets 20 points and seven boards in his debut. Myles Turner puts 30-16 on the Mavericks in an overtime win. DeMarcus Cousins, 24 points. Jusuf Nurkic, 23 points and nine boards.

The league has evolved so drastically in the direction of 3-point shooters that it's easy to miss that there is an absolutely transcendent group of big men laying wood every night in the paint. These guys are all versatile, good passers, most of them are great defenders, and they are all some of the most exciting players in the league. For so long, 3-pointers were novelty. But now, it's not uncommon or surprising to see a great guard rise up from 28 feet or deeper and drain the shot. It's almost routine now. But those brilliant combinations of footwork and touch, of counter-moves and power step-throughs? Those are once again new and unique ... and loads of fun.

What's more, most of these guys can switch onto those guards and disrupt them, which is becoming the true test for a big man. It's not that these are all players in the mold of the old-fashioned center, it's that they combine that new-age versatility with power and fluidity.

The revolution is over, the 3-pointers won. The new revolution is versatile big men, and it has arrived.

I'm getting pissed not seeing Porzingis enjoy big games like his draft class counterparts.

...........Is this really Harrison Barnes? The same Harrison Barnes that was a role player (and predicted role player by NBA scouts) for the Warriors that had a bad finish in the last NBA finals?

Harrison Barnes is putting up borderline franchise player numbers :-o

Report: Bulls have made Jimmy Butler available for trade
Fanrag Sports | Jan 5

According to a Thursday afternoon report from Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report, the Chicago Bulls may be looking to reshape their roster sooner than expected. Per the Thursday afternoon report, the Bulls have made swingman Jimmy Butler available for a trade while reportedly making it known that the franchise was willing to negotiate weeks ago.

Because of the Bulls’ stagnant start to the season, it seems as though starting from scratch may be the team’s best option.

Although shooting guard Dwyane Wade is also on the Bulls’ current roster, the soon-to-be 35-year-old is no longer a franchise cornerstone like he was with the Miami Heat

Have the Bulls lost it?! They tried doing this on draft night after we traded for D-Rose, but then "declared" Jimmy Butler their future after they failed to do so. They still haven't learned, have they?

there must be a personality clash behind the scenes. why give up on your best player? hoiberg wants a more balanced, team-centric focus, wants a strong pg to run the offense. butler needs the touches and shots.
