Nate bringing his winning ways to the Celtics

Looks like i wont be satisfied this year, not enough minutes behind Rondo, Allen and Doc's HS buddy Finely. I guess he has to bail them out of a playoff game to get respect.

Tony Allen would have to really suck @ BOTH ENDS of the floor in order for Nate to get his minutes in the playoff rotation. The only reason Allen is the backup PG for Rondo is b/c his 6'4" frame provides a better defensive match-up compared to Nate's really undersized frame.

If Tony Allen were the same size as Nate or if Nate was around 6'2" or 6'3", Tony Allen would be pulling splinters out of his ass right now.

Im aware of Nate's height he played some nice PG for the Celts even at 5'9". He isnt a terrible defender at PG. He played conservatively in very limited minutes, but had a nice assists to TO\ ratio....I was watching. I can say I'm happy to be wrong in this scenario........at least it shows how washed up Michael Finley was by this point. I never understood why Nate was exiled for Finley aside from that "maturity issue," which never even was brought up in Boston. Finley has hardly played in the playoffs at all as well, and even when he did play in the playoffs he has provided nothing on BOTH SIDES of the floor. Nate during his limited time in the playoffs at least provided 1 basket a game........in some games during the playoffs, close to 10 points.

Big I have total respect for you for any admission of error. People can be stubborn on the message boards. Im wrong about a lot, ....just not about Nate

Finely's a playoff veteran and with ties to Doc going back to high school, I think Doc felt obliged to give Finely a chance (leapfrogging Nate). Nate had to earn his way back into the rotation with intense 2 1/2 hour drills (like he did here while on "sabbatacal") and most likely great practices.
