After a Hiatus year in 2014 I would like to continue a NYKFP tradition.

Credit goes to rtn393 for beginning this forum tradition.

So I welcome y'all to the tenth annual NYKFP Mock Lottery Competition! Post your prediction of the lottery picks (1-14) using the template below. Up for grabs, as always, is the right to brag. Below the template is the scoring system. I will judge and then post the results at the end of the thread shortly after the draft results are in. The 2015 NBA Draft will be hold on Thursday, June 25.

Regulations: Copy/paste the below template into your message body and replace the question marks with the name of a draft entrant. The scoring system requires you to guess the spot at which the player is drafted, not which team the player ends up with. In short, do not factor trades into your mock. You will receive an extra 10 points for correctly predicting the player the Knicks draft. You will not be penalized for incorrectly predicting New York's selection.

1) Minnesota - ???
2) LA Lakers - ???
3) Philadelphia - ???
4) New York - ???
5) Orlando - ???
6) Sacramento - ???
7) Denver - ???
8) Detroit - ???
9) Charlotte - ???
10) Miami - ???
11) Indiana - ???
12) Utah - ???
13) Phoenix - ???
14) Oklahoma - ???

Scoring: The scoring system used by rtn393 is based on the nba.com system. If you guess a pick correctly, you receive 14 points. If you are off by one position, you receive 13, off by two is 12, and so on. If a player you entered is not chosen in the lottery, you receive 0 points.

You may edit your selections (using the "Edit" button on the top right corner of your submitted post) until 7:00 PM EST on the night of the draft.

Past Champions:
(2013) rtn393 and Kn1cksAreBack - 153 points
(2012) Naan - 164 points
(2011) nyknicksfan27 - 178 points
(2010) wallace044 & BenNY89 - 178 points
(2009) rebound - 176 points
(2008) wallace044 - 174 points
(2007) Cadi - 179 points
(2006) joeyk24k - 150 points
(2005) FuryRealm25 - 139 points

Lastly, be sure to stop by the NYKFP Chat or any designated draft thread during the draft to discuss the picks with your fellow posters.

I have to think about this for a second. Initially I would say no, because if the Knicks draft a guy at 4 for another team, then technically all posters that had that player at the 4th spot should get the ten extra points for calling the Knicks' pick right regardless of whether that pick is traded later. The original rules state, that it's spot and player, not team and player. I'm open to suggestions on giving out extra extra-points, but I think to predict trade down scenarios makes this competition a bit too complicated or not?
