Look back to this post when Jerome Dyson and Stanley Robinson become NBA stars

Just so you all know that I called it first because it is going to happen. The Knicks will regret passing on both these players after they both become stars.

Stanley Robinson- (Uconn)- Absolute freak of an athlete with an incredible wing span. No doubt about it more athletically gifted then Lebron James. No, his jumpshot needs a hell of a lot of work, but he's shown great strides of improvement in his 4 years at Uconn. DEFENSIVE STOPPER. Has quick feet and can jump out of the gym. Calhoun always stuck him on the opposing teams best athletes and Robinson stopped them dead in their tracks. BEST REBOUNING SF. His abilities to go up for the ball and snatch a rebound are ridiculous. Can honestly battle Dwight Howard for every single rebound, and unless Howard gets a good box out on him he'd win most of the time. Orlando picked him with the 29th pick in the 2nd round so now you're gonna have Howard and Robinson in the game at the same time just absolutely grabbing every rebound in their sights. Keep your eyes on this kid next year in Orlando.

Jerome Dyson- As fast of a north to south player as John Wall, if not faster. Has a knack for getting to the rim and is an underrated finisher. Definitely has the potential to be a true point guard, and I'm calling right here is in the top 5 PG's in the league in 5 years. The only downside to his game is the fact that he's turnover prone and needs a better jump shot. However, he's not anymore turnover prone then Turner, and his shot isn't any worse then Wall. The biggest thing with this 4 year Uconn veteran is his leadership. I watched every Uconn game and EVERY SINGLE 4th quarter he carried Uconn on his back and many times single handedly got them a win. With Stanley Robinson being their 2nd best player and a little raw on the offensive end, Dyson had to constantly do it all by himself. Definitely a 4th quarter clutch player. He went undrafted and if the Knicks are smart they'll give him a chance to make the roster. He will not fail.

You all can rip the shit out of this thread and I know many will.... Just saying when both these players reach their potential, which I'd bet my life they will, just know it came from here first.

I really wanted us to draft Stanley Robinson
If words were wisdom, I'd be talking even more

I got moved for pretty much the same thing with Omar Samhan, except it was before the draft. Not too late to sign him Donnie!

3/4 court sprint 3.23, 7.6 rebounds per game, likes to shoot 3s and 8.3% body fat. :?

Not impressive enough numbers in the combine to look past the fact that he had zero heart and couldn't get UCONN anywhere and win in the games when it mattered. I'm a UCONN fan, but no to Stanley Robinson. He'll be playing in Europe soon. I saw the potential in spurts, and he could dominate I'm not arguing that, but he's as streaky as they come and 4 years under Calhoun couldn't get him in the right shape mentally for NCAA, no NBA team is going to spend their money and time trying to get it to click for him either.

I hope I'm wrong though, I always like seeing UCONN alum do well.
I'm dubius about that

Both guys like to run, get in transition, agree with n8 about SR's mentality, just not hungry enough and often disappears in a slow halfcourt game.

He's a great athlete, but will need to find the right situation. If he's lucky, he'll latch onto a good program in Europe, get a consistent 3 and come back to the NBA when he's ready; could be a super-athletic version of Bruce Bowen.
