Melo and Noah to Cavs

Cavs send Shump and Frye to us. Love to Chicago.

Chicago sends us D Wade.


Chicago gets an upgrade in Love.
We get contracts that expire in one to two years.
Cavs get Melo - still the best player in the exchange for Love and replaceable role players. Noah as a backup C they need.

Love has more trade value than Melo, so I doubt that the Cavs would be interested in such a deal, although the Knicks (and of course the Bulls - Love for Wade????) would do it in a heartbeat. And we are stuck with Noah, because we want to get future assets from other teams in any deal we make from now, but would've to send some out to get rid of Noah's contract. Trading Noah might be possible in two years when his contract becomes an expiring.
