Can we compete with this roster by just filling in our two most important positions. We are still in the 2012 sweepstakes and we get a young pg,c and a vet rebounder... Is it enough?

CB/Reggie Jackson
Fields/Td
Melo/Swill
Amare/Reggie Evens
Jeremy Ty/Ronnie/ JJordan

Expecting a lot from Jeremy Tyler. He washed out of Tel Aviv and now he's a starter on a contending NBA team? You can maybe depend upon him for backup minutes, say 12-15 mpg a night as a rookie. Robin Lopez is probably the best guy we can get to plug the gap at starting C. Dally would be an improvement but he wants security and isn't that much of an interior presence.

Reggie Evans could be a good pickup, but it all depends on his health and whether he's OK with a 1 yr deal. Might be a better investment to buy a second round pick and grab a banger like Willie Reed, Frank Hassell or Ricky Jackson. Miami has shown that you can craft a pretty good defense with length and athleticism at the 2-3-4 starting spots and a banger PF.
