This is becoming a memorably bad night for Latrell Sprewell Shandon Anderson and Howard Eisley (3-22). Kurt and Allan are playing nicely, but the Hawks have a 5 point lead heading into the 4th, ready to sap what life remains of the Knicks' dwindling playoff hope.
As hard as they've tried, this team just doesn't have what it takes to close out a game. I'm prepared to say that it's over because this team can't play .667 ball over any significant stretch of time and that's how they have to close out the season to have a chance at taking that 8th seed. They're not a .667 team with McDyess, so why would they be one to close out this season?
