Wow, the similarities are very much there between that Sixers team and ours, at least at this very moment without Julius. I would've preferred it be more balanced between 2 stars but for now it's working. I just hope Brunson has enough in the tank for the long haul. It must be taxing.

Yeah, we won't make a finals run without Julius. But it's still fun so far and if we win the series it's already a success in my book and the conference finals could still be in reach. Bogdanovic also being out for the season hurts though for the upcoming games/run.

I know I'm usually optimistic but I don't see it.

Even though I think JB has more talent (and better fit) around him than Ju had against ATL for example, I doubt that will be enough for a ECF run, particularly with the Sixers in the first round.

Now if we had Ju and with the OG addition then I think we should be able to do it this season.

And that's a shame.

Hard to believe Wilt never did it in the 1960s before he decided to become a defensive specialist with the Lakers near the end of his career. Even going against Russell every year, he had plenty of big games, and you would think he shot well, as he rarely took a shot more than 3 feet from the rim. :?

maybe the combination of Russell’s intimidation and Wilt being a notoriously bad free throw shooter got in the way. also, I’m sure that even Wilt didn’t have to carry most of the offense by himself, as his teammates were dropping left and right

by the way, the most impressive part is, Jalen is doing this without really relying on the 3-pointer

bumson truly is a brutal player to watch. especially against a polar opposite like haliburton who just take high efficient 3s and passes.

if you are injured sit since you are incapable of passing a basketball.
give this guy 50million a year under tommy so the knicks can go back to lottery hell where they bleong.

Brunson is paid well to be our scoring closer at a little over $25M per.
Brunson is paid the exact amount for his performance.
Brunson's shot attempts per game I don't agree with, is the most I ever seen any Knicks player have
No! I don't believe our Knicks success is all on Brunson doing, when we used Miller's starter lineup Mitch, Randle, Bullock, Barrett, and Payton to become a 3 seed team in the East having a Tier-2 PG Payton as our starter.
We Knicks have been needing a PG since (2012) LinSanity & Kidd.
Now, that we have a tier 1 PG in Brunson, we are so happy (12 years later) we say things before thinking.
Brunson did invite his same-page Nova brothers to join the Knicks, plus we traded for a 2-Way OG Anunoby to become a contender.
We also picked up a well rounded winning role-player in Precious that fits well with IHart.
Our weakness have been we allowed Brunson to become our main (only) scorer when Randle & OG was hurt with injury.
