That's why I said "we are terrible on defense as a whole". We were collectively awful.

Even though Trier had 15 or so points, I hate his game. Very selfish player. I get that he is fighting for a role on the team but coaches I am sure are also looking for court vision and hitting the open man too.

Knox looked great but random tidbit. I would like to see him be more receptive and encouraging to teammates. At times he looks a bit lackadaisical - not hyping up others, giving high fives, acknowledging others teammates.

Frank played a really solid all around game..much more aggressive..

Mitchel and Knox are talented...

Mitchel gives up interior position too easily and gets bullied down low...but hes a player

Probably Frank's best offensive game so far. Mitchell and Knox were really solid. I could see Mitchell being a poor man's DeAndre Jordan in a few years. Trier was too selfish. Lots of bad shots. Troy Williams could've used more touches and Dotson was damn near invisible.
No longer sick and tired that Kurt wasn't hired.

Trier used PEDS twice and look better than he should have in college

Heq basically scammed his way to the nba draft and got passed up

Who cares about the result, the important things are:

- The talent level of Knox and Robinson is way higher than I expected at this
stage of their development. And the thing that's so exciting is neither of them
have filled out and gotten their "man bodies" yet. Mills/Perry may have hit a
grand slam with these two picks

- Good to see Ntilikina attack from the beginning of the game. The talent is there
it's all about his mentality

- The offense spread the floor again and the balance was good between drives & jumpers
but we missed some easy shots. Knox in particular is giving us big increase in getting
to the line

- The perimeter defense was active but we were poor when UTA ran backdoors and gave up
too many layups. Robinson lack of strength was also exploited in the post

All in all it was another positive step in the development of the young talent

Credit where it's due for Frank stepping up this game BUT that's the level he's gotta be at consistently if he's gonna be a starter in this league....
Knox once again looked NBA ready.
Robbo was good on the glass & finishing around the cup. Got another couple of blocks but looked weak when attacked by opposition big men.

Our D still looks atrocious at times BUT luckily we have a defensive minded coach so I'd like to think he'll get that part of our game sorted.

What do ypu guys think about Trier?
We already have Frank, Mudiay, Burke, Baker, THJr, Lee & Dotson as our back court players, granted some of those can play the 3 but I wouldn't mind giving Trier a roster spot....IF we can offload Lee

Tough crowd, I expected you would mention his name for MVP after this one good game ;)

Terrible but he does have skill. Unfortunately he's a chuck with tunnel vision otherwise he maybe had a place as a combo guard in this league.
Don't mind him getting a chance in the GLeague but I don't want him on next year's summer league unless he fixes the black hole mentality.

Baker is better than Trier or Dotson.

People on this board need to stop evaluating players in isolation and put them in
the context of the team. As far as Trier is concerned I like his offensive aggression,
if he continues to work on his game there's no reason he can't be a Lou Williams
type of scorer off the bench. He doesn't suck

Good point. Mr3037 and I discussed him briefly after the first game. If he is the scoring dynamo his scouting report claims he is, then the selfish label will fade. Cats in SL are just trying HARD to be seen. I need to see more.
