Nah,it's more hypothetical since Kanter opted in...But ild rather have Noah as a mentor vs Kanter

The Knicks and second-round pick Mitchell Robinson are finalizing a multi-year agreement that’s expected to include team options, per ESPN sources. More: https://t.co/yZrfrn7HdS

Source says Mitchell Robinson deal is three years plus a fourth-year team option. Averages roughly 1.6M per.

Word. The Knicks never do this. Perry earning his money this off-season. Two draft steals, good deals with Herzogna. Good contracts, cap wise.

You're probably more in danger of that happening with Kanter, not Noah.

Yeah, Noah is playing 10mpg top and that's if Brewer was underestimating him still.

Mitch will be the first C off the bench behind Enes playing somewhere around 15-20mpg which is fine because he's still raw and he needs a lot of work. He commits a lot of dumb fouls and gets bullied down low in SL. Let him taste the big league, but not get demolished either. I love the kid and I think he's a great pickup, but starting jobs will be earned

Kanter can teach him his offensive moves while Noah can take care of defense/court vision to produce the perfect C in a few years

Love Robinson, but he's not ready to defend the post, too light. Right now he's a stretch PF IMO, but he might be really good next to Enes.

He'll need to work on his conditioning, not playing any 5 on 5 vs quality competition for a year. Just needs some time to ease into it. PF does seem likely, as he's not that strong yet for the 5 and he has a good spot up j from 3. Ultimately he should be 250#, let him add it on gradually.

I love how he sprints back on D, he will change our transition defense.

It is essentially why I think Mitch would most likely start next season in the G-League first. Give him some playing time reps against lesser competition for at least the first month and a half or so.........then activate him to the main roster once Noah's body does its annual injury episode.

Knicks' second-round pick Mitchell Robinson continues to impress in Summer League. He had 17 points on 8-for-10 shooting, 12 rebounds (7 offensive), 6 blocks & 3 steals

Granted it's summer league but the value is crazy.

Nitti 6'6'
Knocks 8-) 6'9'
KP 7'3'
MMM 7'1'

...make up our potential positionless starters say after the asg. So far everyone's long, plays d, athletic, and versatile just like coach said. At full speed and strength it should be a defense & fast-break nightmare.

2 guard (for lack of a better term) is up for grabs imo.

Triple M 6 (had to edit that) more blocks today.

We gotta settle down and keep things in perspective. So far only things we can say are goddam motherfuckers we got ourselves a garnet and a motherfuckin' durant in the same fuckin' draft nonetheless with a unicorn in the stable; ecf here we come!

Nah jk, no matter what we have to set realistic goals. If K slay wanna challenge for ROTY or 3M that's realistic. Get KP back into the fold this year? That's realistic. Mitch getting quality minutes I think is realistic at this point.
