The Knicks open their Summer League schedule on July 7 in Las Vegas against the Atlanta Hawks.

Here's the Knicks Vegas Summer League schedule:

Saturday July 7: 2:30 p.m. - NY vs. Atlanta (ESPN)
Sunday July 8: 6 p.m. - Utah vs. NY (NBA TV)
Tuesday July 10: 5:30 p.m. – Los Angeles Lakers vs. NY (ESPN2)

Then the tournament will begin, guaranteeing each team additional games

Each team is guaranteed at least 5 games total, pretty fair.

I'm actually looking forward to the matchup. They are good friends hungry to compete against each other. Frank has a lot to learn from Donovan, but I don't believe it's going to be the one-sided bloodbath you envision.

Here is what I gathered from their website:
"With every team participating, NBA Summer League 2018 will expand to 12 days and 82 games as part of the usual tournament-style schedule. Teams will compete in three preliminary games before being seeded in a tournament that culminates with the Championship Game on July 17. Each team will play at least five games and as many as eight."

I'm pumped about that team. A lot at stake for those guys to come out and earn their stripes. I'm sure we're all praying to see the growth and development Frank, Dotson, Hicks and Williams have put in over the summer. And obviously Knox and Robinson are going to be fun.

Who are the guys in bold? Cragg, I'm looking at you, have a feeling you've already fully scouted them .

Really interested in seeing a lineup of:

PG - Frank Ntilikina
SG - Daymean Dotson
SF - Allonzo Trier
PF - Kevin Knox
C - Mitchell Robinson

This unit should be able to get plenty of points in transition, especially off of blocks (Robinson) and deflections/steals (Ntilikina & Dotson). Oh, and just say no to Labeyrie. How many summer leagues has it been for him already? Probably not as many as it seems, but goodness...

Labeyrie doesn't have to play summer league, but definitely improved so much in Europe that I think he could be a good player to have in training camp.

Dunno about the first 3, but I remember Harper. He was a promising pf, could do different things, efficient with the 3, etc. He bounced around but never really found the right situation. If he can defend, rebound and hit the 3, then he'd be a nice pickup.

Should be interesting to see if Knox starts at the 3 with kornet and mitchell, or at the 4 with williams and kornet or mitchell.
