And Knick management made a deal that makes sense. I can get behind that. A PG/SG rotation of Mudiay, Frank, Burke and THJ will at least be interesting to watch the rest of the season and should present a long term option for the team.

Looks good, all things considered.

- we get younger and faster at PG
- keep vet leadership in lee and lance
- keep our dependable c's in kanter and koq

The outstanding question is still around Noah, probably gets stretched over the summer.

Now let's bring in one young wing player and this was a very good deadline. Not sure if there is still something out there, but one more little move would be nice.

My friend who is an Orlando Magic fan said there was a deal for Frank and Noah for Payton and Biyombo and we turned it down.

Good call? True?

Would have been hilarious though since Biyombo's contract is one of the reasons Perry got fired from Orlando. Probably didnt do it so everyone in NYC doesnt remember he worked there

Perry wasn't calling the shots there, so you can let it go and concentrate on what he does here.

not a fan of keeping lee if there was an offer for a player on a 2year deal.
no cap room to play with these next 2 summers. hopefully his presence means no more washed up vet signings for leadership roles.

looks like no one wanted kyle for anything of value. i like him but not sure if he's worth the cap space it will take to re-sign him.

Now is the deadline, right? So I guess that was it for today.

Not a bad deadline. Two decisions made on prospects we had, one prospect with upside and 2 second-rounders on the way in.

 Have blind faith in a man with horrible credentials. He got fired the same time as Hennigan. He was his right hand man. Even if you dont blame him directly, you sure as hell know he didnt help Hennigan at all. Orlando is still reeling in pain from those two.

Ian Begley
ESPN Staff Writer
On Courtney Lee, teams who had been in touch with the Knicks said NYK had been looking for a first-round pick in any deal for Lee.

Ian Begley
ESPN Staff Writer
Some in the Knicks organization were high on Emmanuel Mudiay prior to the 2015 NBA Draft but there was concern at the time about how he'd handle the transition to life in the NBA at 19.

Ian Begley
ESPN Staff Writer
Teams expressed interest in Courtney Lee and Kyle O'Quinn but New York clearly didn't hear any offers it liked. The club was looking to get a young athlete and did so in obtaining Emmanuel Mudiay. Now, the Knicks have to figure out their guard rotation and how to handle the Joakim Noah situation.
