He's a 7 footer that can hit the long range....why not just have him play the center and have him put his hands up?

because for the one millionth time, d'antoni doesn't want a real center. One non wing player on the court at a time max.

D'Antoni is a fucking idiot. I'm starting to think the Phoenix success was more a display of Nash's prowess as an athlete than Mike's genius. We need a shot blocking center. Period.

Same reason you can't play Gallo at the 5.

There is no such thing as a Mr Fix-It coach.
Of course all coaches are a product of their players! The best ones just can handle the best players! This is something Mike D does very well, this is something Phil Jackson has been credited with from time to time. Assistant's are usually more x and o's guys, Boston had the worst record in the league with Doc Rivers at the helm before they won the championship ... they got good players and all of the sudden Doc is a great coach, did he get that much better at coaching over night where he learned to draw up magical plays that made KG and Paul Pierce and Ray Allen look good or did they make him look good ? Michael, Kobe, and Shaq ain't shit without Phil Jackson right ? No it's the other way around, this is a players league and you will get by on how good your players are and how good you are at handling them. The fact that all our players suck (hyperbole, incomplete) probably means our team will suck (be in complete) no matter who's coaching. If you trade D'Antoni for Mike Brown, you probably don't improve too drastically, if at all, in the W/L column. If you trade Wilson Chandler for LeBron James....than your talking.
A guy who gets a lot out of non-superstar teams is Larry Brown and even he is only a .500 coach w/o a legit roster and he's one of the best tacticians in the game, especially defensively. You guys are dreaming if you think any coach can do better than Mike D with this squad, and no I don't think D'Antoni is a great coach but he's not as bad as he's made out to be lately.

That was my answer. Bender blows. Get a real player to play the 5. The fact that Bender sucks balls on both ends of the floor is not Mike D' fault. Sorry guys.

the fact that he cracked the rotation ahead of both our rookies and Darko was though. I'd rather not see Bender out there at all, let alone at the 5

Yeah, I applaud his hard work and drive to get back to the NBA. That's a very difficult obstacle for any man. But he's not good enough and should have never gotten the free pass into the rotation.

I have a better idea than Bender...
Why not fire our very own member of the League of Morons,Mr Dantoni for never giving Hill a shot after passing on PG studs??
Now that Hill is playing for a real coach in Adleman,he is putting up 6 ppg and 5 boards in 12 mpg..On a team 5 games back in the playoff hunt..
Go figure

Not a fair comparison; in Houston, he has the luxury of playing amongst other good defenders like Battier, Ariza, Hayes and Scola. He doesn't ahve to lead, just has to fit in.
With us, he was expected to make up for the lack of defense for most of the squad, anchor the pivot.

also Hill makes alot of sense in Houston going forward. I never said he was gonna suck.....well actually I have said that, but by the time he left I realized that he's be a decent player, just never worthy of his draft status. To me he's gonna be exactly what we kindov said, a Dale Davis type of player. I think that when Yao comes back if he's still a complete two way player he always has been, then Hill makes great sense next to him as a utility bigman.
