TD made the same mistake as a rookie once Duhon has been making for a year and a half. please don't tell me you've never seen Duhon dribble the ball off his foot in crunch time, cause I'm certain there's at least 3 or 4 games we lost that way last season. and he didn't play the kind of defense Toney has in this game either
D'Antoni - the future former coach of the New York Knicks. 2011 is my guess.

I remember one game where we needed the basket, Duhon was ready to make a lay-up (I'm assuming) and the ball went out of bounds off his thigh. Priceless.

Have you spoken with Mike D’Antoni? Timofey Mozgov: Yes. I went to dinner with him and he’s a good guy in my opinion. I don’t know how he’s going to be on the court, but he’s tough. He told me “Please, don’t be lazy” and that if I work hard I will play for sure. HoopsHype.com

Check out these post game quotes from Toney. I like the way he approaches the game.

"I've learned a lot. I can honestly say, not playing, I've become a better student of the game on the bench," Douglas said. "Watching the veterans out there, watching the other teams, watching the whole NBA, being a student of the game, watching film, knowing what I need to work on and what I can do to get better.

"I feel like I have a lot more to keep doing, and I'm gonna keep doing it until I can't get better no more."
"Then lace up your JIMPing shoes Freak, because I think Darko is gonna be a nice surprise under D'Antoni as long as he gets the minutes." - Non

"You'd think he notice immediately if her vagina looked like a meat maze after Shaq was through with it, though." - Naan

I watched the UCONN women game because the Knicks suck, and then this happens.
I'm dubius about that

That's been my point all season... TD wasn't ready, and he can learn a lot by watching veterans to see what they do. He's got the BEST seat in the house at every game to do that and learn.

or, in the case of our the now, finally and fortunately, former dud of a starting point guard, what NOT to do. except on-the court experience is the best kind, and maybe Toney wouldn't have come up with that fumble last night if he'd been playing consistent minutes up to this point.
