I see Bagley and see more Beasley than Bosh/KG/KD and while i still think theres value...it just not the top 5 picks.

but his motor is higher/fast twitch athlete but height/reach/midrange/decent but not good handle/decent but not good shooter from deep.

Motor and Mental state ill give to Bagley...but Beasley was stronger/ better rebounder by a lil bit/better overall scorer.

watching them play, i'd still take Bagley over JJJ. Beasley wasn't 6'10. He's 6'7 without shoes. He just never looked right mentally in the NBA. Kind of like Oden didn't either but Durant did. Some guys have that killer in them. You never really know who will have it in the nba, but considering that JJJ doesn't really have it now in terms of being an offensive threat, I don't think he'd have it in the pros either. Bagley's athleticism and ability to create his own offense is the big draw for me. I'd be okay with JJJ, but it's a more traditional "your bigs will get what your guards create for them" scheme.

I don't know but those guys wont have a hard time playing PF?

I mean, those areguys over 6'10, will they be able to defend the perimeter since we supposed to play KP more at C with any of Bagley or JJJ?

That's why i prefer MPJ, but his defense scares the hell out of me... :(

That's pretty close to how I'd compare them H2O. Just know though that Jackson's range gives those guards allot of options. He has Bosh in Miami type of range, and sure nowadays most bigs can shoot out there, but then again he can also play big and grab boards, block shots and mix it up inside.

We'd essentially have 2 pick and pop options on either side with 3pt range. It's not KP and a 6'11 traditional PF that'll end up being a C that we always wanna pair KP with, and it's not a SF with length to play PF. I think he's a definite C/PF with athleticism and range. Sorta like a young Pacers Jermaine O'neil with further range.

I can't imagine Jermaine O'Neal guarding "strech bigs".. Maybe Kevin Garnett..

What i'm worried about is playing KP at C and having the same problems defensively defending the 3 ball..

I guess some players could do it based on athleticism I'm their early days..

With KP at C we could use another guy who can rebpund, blocks shots and strech the floor.. Both guys can do that IMO..

Looking at how bad we are right now, how the hell did Larry Brown coach this team to only 23 wins?

And we had the Zach-attack.

Here is a very rough and personal estimate of the number of winnable games for the teams below us:

- The Nets (7 possible wins) play Sacramento, Dallas, Memphis, Orlando and Chicago (x3).
- The Bulls (9) with Lavine/Dunn back can win over the Nets (x3), Mavs, Memphis (x2), Atlanta, us, Orlando.
- Memphis (8) plays the Suns, Orlando, Chicago (x2), Mavs, Nets, Lakers @home, Kings
- Sacramento (8) have Lakers @home, Nets, us, Magic, Hawks, Mavs, Suns, Grizz
- Orlando (10-11) getting Vucevic back can beat us (x2), Memphis, Lakers, Kings, Suns, Nets, Bulls, Hawks, Mavs, Charlotte (?)
- Dallas (8-9), as carlisle doesn't tank, can beat Lakers (x2 both away), Bulls, Memphis, us, Nets, Charlotte, Sacramento, Magic, Suns
- Atlanta (5) can maybe win by accident over Lakers @home, Suns, Bulls @home, Sacramento, Orlando @home
- Phoenix (4) are going straight to the bottom imo but they're playing the Hawks, Magic, Kings and Mavs

So we def have to lose pretty much all our remaining games to get to top 5. Most probably we'll finish 7th or 6th

As I wrote a few days ago: I don't see (m)any team(s) below us winning enough to improve our draft position. I focus on spots 9-11 now.

Especially disappointing are the beloved Nets, who have no reason to tank, but are simply this bad.

For anything better than 9 we need a lot of luck.

Bad news for sure..

I guess we would need a top 6 pick to get one of those impact players..

Beasley is 6'7 but hes longer than Bagley and was a killer of a scorer in college.

I'd take JJJ purely off what nazr said....I can see JJJ being a scorer in the pros actually.

Oden looked like he belonged he was just never healthy...his numbers healthy were legit and he imposed his will....Oden looked more complete at 19 than Ayton does

If you want someone to play alongside KP needs to be able to rebound and space the floor..

Kanter rebounds but can't space the floor..

If JJJ can play defense and protect the rim is a big plus!..

I'm not familiar with JJJ, but most bigs now seem to be able to shoot some..

I didn't post any news though, just repeating that 3-5 more wins are a lot, and for this season spot 9-11 should be fine. We take one of the Bridges or Knox or trade up or down (for example for Brown), get more athletic and younger and with KP sidelined, we have a better chance at a higher pick next year.

This is also my best-case scenario, although I’m preparing myself for the worst-case.

Because, Knicks.

If we were to climb into the 6th or 7th spot, I’m hoping New York doesn’t get cute and draft Colin Sexton who I like but would feel some type of way about drafting another point guard after we took Ntilikina last year.

The other teams are too bad to catch us. 7 teams with under 20 wins right now.

i just want us to lose every game because this is the last year that tanking can happen....lose to be top 7...and see if the NBA helps their biggest market.
