6'11", 7'4" WS, defends, rebounds and passes well, nice looking perimeter shot. A project for sure but he looks like the tools and skills are pretty good.

Re: Well its time to have that discussion ...
Nah, TJ thrived because our backcourt lacks the size and length to bother him; bigger guards just shoot over him, deflect his dribble or bump him off his drives.

Burks did his job as a scorer; 26 pts in 27 mins. He kept this from being worse. Stop blaming for being stuck in an impossible situation over 2 yrs ago. Any team could use a microwave style scorer. Just gotta put him in the right situation. He is capable for that role and he proved it this series wh...

Off-season, I really want Deuce to improve his ball handling, finishing and playmaking. Every reason to believe he'll take that next step.

Re: Well its time to have that discussion ...
One huge question will be the backup PG role. Is Rokas the answer or will we shop for a vet like Ty Jones, for example? We need a genuine playmaker to back up JB.
A smaller question is size/length at the 2. A genuine 6'6 (or better) that's switchable, can hit shots reliably would be ideal.

Re: Well its time to have that discussion ...
FO needs to keep this squad together.
Only roster changes I'd make are adding legit NBA vets at the 3rd string; guys that know how to play but willing to defer to occasional spot minutes roles to get that ring. Definitely need wing depth with length.

Yup. Normally we just follow the draft and FA after the season but health reports are gonna be gripping news.
I am worried about Jalen's hand, Ju's shoulder, OG's hammy.

Re: [Rd. 2, Game 7: 2024 Playoffs] Pacers -v- Knicks, 19 May, 3:30PM, ABC
Frustrating that we lost this series but a lack of length and health did us in. No game plan or sub was ever going to compensate for a lack of size; losing OG and Josh was fatal. This is one tough squad, has the mental part figured out; we never give up and are unselfish with, dogged in getting the ...

Re: Thibs extension coming
I'm wondering what happens if Thibs wins this series and his critics have to say he goes from being absolute trash to a great coach with apparently nothing in between. They're sweating right now but something tells me there'll be some new narrative even once he does it. It'll be how if we hadn't ru...

BTW, take a closer look at the replay; it's not Burks with the back of his hand pushing away Jackson.
It's IH but somehow the refs called AB on it.

JB penetrated and didn't settle for long shots early on to get him going. This is key. Never said one negative word about burks. How can I when wished for him to pg for us at the end of games because randle couldn't close. He really is a swiss knife in every sense. AB is a very nice compliment to a...

Everyone is a Burks fan now, lol. Smh! Five for eight from three, over 60 percent shooting, and this guy has been sitting for a month! He should have been playing the whole time, taking some of the load off our starters. Always been a fan of AB but he really struggled coming back from DET; flashes ...

Dre, he was doing exactly what you want to, playing one big and all the guards and still lcouldn't win. Sometimes is just like that, it rakes a crazy 3pt shot to beat you. We had multiple opportunities to secure a rebound and failed to do so, perhaps another big could have been useful there? AB pla...

Lack of poise in closing mins, got disorganized on d as well; we fumbled away a plum opportunity as IND played most of the game with little urgency and we wasted a career night from DiVo. Deuce and Alec showed up, will need more like that from them.

Lol, all the ESPN talking heads are annoyed that we nipping at the Pacers heels. AB with 13! Josh is gonna set a record playing 3 straight games, 48 mins. Great effort so far. I don't see the type of urgency from IND you'd expect from a squad down 0-2. This is gonna be interesting, poise and desire ...

Re: elephant in the room: randle's return.
If Ju is unhappy for the team's postseason success then he will be moved. A winning postseason is exactly what he wants, dunno why some are suggesting any displeasure on his part; every NBA player wants to win, Ju very much.
